Meet the Team

Having first opened the doors of Hammond Property Services on 1st July 1988, Jonathan has been the Principal driving force of the Company and is now based at the Bingham Office as the main Valuer & Practice Manager.

Whilst the selling of property within the Bingham and Vale of Belvoir area is very important to Jonathan, the numerous Sponsorship arrangements that he has created are his pride and joy; helping many of the local clubs, groups, associations and charities as a result of successful house sales with many £100 donations to anyone with a link to those organisations.

Jonathan was recognised in the 2023 New Year’s Honours List with the award of an M.B.E. for his Voluntary & Charitable services to the Community of Bingham and received the award from The Princess Royal at Buckingham Palace, accompanied by his family.

In addition, he is very well known as the creator of the annual Hammond Property Services Quiz which has raised over £46,000 for the Nottingham Branch of ChildLine having started in 2007!. A copy of the Quiz and the answerst o the previous year is available from the Quiz Link on the home page.

One of Jonathan’s most proudest moments was to see the lifting of the “On Freedom’s Wings” statue of a full-size Lancaster Bomber onto its stanchions in September of 2025, situated at Norton Disneyt on the A46 between Newark & Lincoln… a project that Jonathan has been actively involved with as an Ambassador since 2018. www.facebook.com/OnFreedomsWings

Despite his young looks, Jonathan has 44 years of experience in the Estate Agency world as is proud to have sold more property within Bingham over the last 26 years that any other Estate Agency.

Mel serves as the Residential Sales Manager and has just celebrated 10 years of working alongside Jonathan at the Bingham office. Those ten years of dedication to the local Bingham community and the smooth running of the office, managing property transactions across Bingham and the Vale of Belvoir region, are added to her many years of property experience having started her career at the age of only 16!

Recognised for her welcoming personality, enthusiasm, and professionalism, Mel is widely appreciated by both buyers and sellers for making the home-moving process a smoother, more manageable and less-stressful experience.

‘Many dogs are like their owners!’ Mel’s calming influence with both buyers and sellers throughout her many years in Bingham is perfectly matched with Woody’s personality and she also receives visits from many drop-in clients who have become friends over years… either to see Woody or Mel… and often to share a catchup with a cup of tea, or a coffee with cakes and brownies in their hands!

Louise’s first taste of lettings and sales came at just 15 years old during a work experience placement. She knew almost immediately that property was where she wanted to build her career, and she wasted no time in pursuing that ambition—securing a full-time position with a local independent agent at just 16.

Now, two decades on, Louise is delighted to be a key member of the team at Hammond Property Services. As a proud member of the Leading Industry membership body, Propertymark, Louise demonstrates an ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards, ensuring every move is as smooth and positive as possible for her vendors and buyers.

The opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and guide them through their property journey is what has kept Louise passionate and driven for 20 years—and long may it continue!

Alongside her property career, Louise has also supported various charities with fund allocation and event planning, further refining her strong negotiation and organizational skills.

Away from work, you’ll usually find her at the coast with family or enjoying a city break with friends (York and London are two firm favorites). Unsurprisingly, Louise is almost always the designated organizer on these trips—planning comes naturally to her, whether at home or in the office.

With 20 years of hands-on experience, a genuine passion for property, and a people-first approach, Louise is proud to continue helping clients take the next exciting step in their property journey.

Overseeing the Property Management and Lettings Team over the last few years, Denise has a wealth of Estate Agency and property experience and a genuine passion for customer care and is renowned for her fairness and diplomacy. Denise plays an integral role in delivering a seamless, stress-free experience and brings over 40 years of experience to the business.

To re-assure Landlord and Tenants, Denise has passed her Exams… and has been awarded the Propertymark Qualifications Level 3 Certificate in Property Agency (Lettings) (CiPA-LE) which is a regulated Professional Qualification, widely recognised within the UK property industry, serving as a benchmark of knowledge and professionalism within the world of Residential Lettings. In readiness for the Regulation of Property Agents (RoPA), which us due to come into force within the next three years, Denise will be starting her Level 4 next year. You can have peace of mind that you are in safe hands when Denise is acting on your behalf!

Denise’s role is to proactively oversee the day-to-day management of the department with meticulous attention to detail, whilst building strong, long-lasting relationships with landlords and tenants through clear, honest communication and prompt problem-solving. With the new regulations having arrived in May of 2026, Denise ensures that all Lettings Legislation and Tenancy Standards are rigorously met to safeguard our landlords’ investments.

Well-known for her approachable manner, professionalism, and efficient working style, Denise takes great pride in ensuring that every enquiry is handled smoothly and every property is cared for as if it were her own.

Richard joined the Hammond Property Services Lettings Team in March 2023, bringing a wealth of expertise built across the East Midlands property sector since the 2000s.

Over the course of his career, he has held a wide variety of key roles, from opening brand-new lettings offices from the ground up to taking the helm of established branches.

This mix of managerial and operational experience gives Richard a complete, 360-degree understanding of the lettings market. He is genuinely passionate about building strong, long-lasting relationships with both landlords and tenants, taking a proactive approach to property management that ensures any situation is resolved smoothly, efficiently, and professionally.

Committed to achieving the absolute best outcome for every client, Richard is always on hand for an open, honest discussion about any aspect of the lettings process—whether you’re a seasoned landlord looking for advice or a tenant navigating your next move.

As a Lettings Negotiator at Hammond Property Services, Lottie enjoys meeting new people and helping landlords and tenants navigate the lettings process with confidence.

She prides herself on being approachable, friendly and responsive, while always providing honest and professional advice. Her passion for the role is all about delivering great customer service and making the experience of letting or finding a new home as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Lottie’s rapid progression in the world of a Rental Estate Agent has been forged with her working closely with both Denise and Richard as they guide her, using their own many years of service within the profession. Always available to help… give her a call.

Meet Woody, the resident office dog and undisputed Chief Morale Officer at Hammond Property Services.

While buying, selling, or moving home can sometimes feel a bit stressful, Woody has a remarkable way of keeping the office grounded and calm. His gentle presence brings a steady, soothing energy to the room—whether he’s quietly curled up by a desk, offering a welcoming tail wag to clients stepping through the door, or simply being available for a quick, stress-busting head pat during a busy afternoon.

It turns out his calming charm extends far beyond the Office Team. Woody has built up quite his own local fan club! Many folk stop by the office every week—from local regulars out on their daily strolls to clients dropping off paperwork—just to say a quick hello, hand over a friendly scratch behind the ears, or drop off the occasional treat.

He’s far more than just a friendly face; Woody is an essential part of the warm, welcoming atmosphere that has been created for everyone who visits the office.
